Kendall Bedford

Associate (Philadelphia, PA)

Kendall joined SustainVC as an Impact Fellow whilst she was concurrently pursuing her dual degree Masters of Environmental Studies and MBA at The Wharton School. In 2020, she was selected as an Impact Capital Managers’ Mosaic Fellow and was placed with a sustainable infrastructure PE fund for two Summers during her time as a student. Whilst attending The Wharton School, Kendall served as co-president of the Wharton Impact Investing Partners in addition to representing the school as both a Wharton Leadership Venture Fellow and a Student Life Fellow.

Prior to her time at SustainVC, Kendall graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and was employed as a Project Manager at an early-stage developer and environmental consultancy firm. There she was responsible for the verification and regulatory management of their portfolio of Agricultural Methane and Compost based offset projects resulting in more than 50,000 emission reduction credits annually. Kendall also participated in several project viability assessments, a special investment committee, and initiated both the company’s first DEI committee and Brown Bag Lunch and Learn Series.

In her free time, Kendall enjoys talking too much about her cats, skateboarding, baking, and finding new excuses to spend time outside.
