Justin is passionate about using impact investing to benefit undeserved Americans and has over 17 years of managerial, entrepreneurial and investment experience. He started his career as an environmental engineer and spent eight years advising Fortune 500 clients in North and South America, the Caribbean, Europe and Africa. After running his own startup, he joined Investors’ Circle as Director of Investments where he vetted early-stage, impact companies and facilitated due diligence. In 2013, he joined the SustainVC team and has been involved in the entire investment process, from sourcing deals and conducting due diligence through portfolio management, having served as board observer for seven portfolio companies. Justin has strong sector experience and interest in energy, sustainability, education and health & wellness sectors. Justin has a BS and an MS degree from Tufts University and an MBA from Duke.
In his limited free time Justin enjoys spending time with his family (also known as chasing around his two young children) in Durham, NC.
